Bookings with External Providers

Our agency acts as an intermediary in the booking of flights, accommodations, travel packages, and other travel-related services. This means that, although we facilitate the booking process and provide access to a wide range of options, we do not directly manage these services. Instead, we act as a bridge between the user and the corresponding providers.

Flights: We facilitate the search and booking of domestic and international flights, connecting users with partner airlines and travel agencies so they can access the best available options. Flight search and booking is powered by LiteAPI – Nuitée Travel Limited.
Accommodations: We offer a wide variety of accommodation options, such as hotels, apartments, and other types of lodging, managed and provided directly by the providers. Hotel search and booking is powered by LiteAPI – Nuitée Travel Limited.
Travel packages: We make available to the user travel packages and activities organized by external tour operators, allowing the user to explore and enjoy their destination with predefined and guided options.

It is important to note that in all these cases, we do not directly manage the aforementioned services, but rather facilitate the connection between the user and the corresponding providers for the completion of the booking.

2. Adult User

The user declares that they are of legal age and have sufficient legal capacity to be bound by these Terms of Use. Therefore, Viajes24h and this Website are not directed at minors. Viajes24h disclaims any liability for non-compliance with this requirement.

9. Payment Processors We Use

When making a booking, the following payment processors will be responsible for collecting and processing your payment information:

Stripe: Acts as our collection agent to process payments on behalf of our agency.
- Payments by credit and debit card.
- Payments via TWINT.

Full payment by credit card, debit card, or TWINT is required to confirm your booking, unless otherwise indicated. The name of Stripe or our agency may appear on your bank statement as the beneficiary of the transaction.

Taxes, Fees, and Currency Conversions

The value of your booking may be subject to taxes, duties, international transactions, currency exchange, or other additional fees, which may be applied by your bank, card issuer, or TWINT provider. Please note the following:

Currency conversion: Your bank, card issuer, or TWINT provider may convert the transaction to your local currency, which could result in differences between the amount shown on the platform and the final amount charged.
Additional fees: Your bank, card issuer, or TWINT provider may charge additional fees associated with currency conversion, which could result in a charge higher than the price initially shown on the website.

10. Cancellation Due to Non-Payment

If payment is not received within the established timeframe, our agency reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice and without refund of any previous payments made. We recommend completing payment as soon as possible to ensure the definitive confirmation of your booking.

11. Cancellation Request by the User

Cancellation Timeframes and Charges

More than 30 days before departure: No cancellation charges will apply to tours. However, airline tickets and hotel reservations may be subject to cancellation charges, depending on the specific terms and conditions of each provider.
Less than 30 days before departure: A charge of 10% will apply to tours, with the exception of airline tickets and hotel reservations, which may incur additional charges according to the policies of each contracted service.

Non-Refundable Services

Some services, such as certain airline tickets, hotel reservations, or specific activities, may be non-refundable. These services will be clearly indicated during the booking process so that the user is aware of the special conditions before completing their purchase.

It is important to note that, in all cases, cancellation charges are determined by the service providers, and our agency will act as an intermediary in the management of such cancellations.

12. Cancellation by Viajes24h

In the event that Viajes24h finds it necessary to cancel a booking for reasons attributable to us (for example, unforeseen changes in service availability or circumstances beyond our control), the user will have the right to choose between:

Full refund: The user may opt to receive a full refund of any payments made, without any penalty.
Equivalent alternative: If preferred, the user may request an equivalent alternative in terms of service, quality, and value, which Viajes24h commits to offering. If the proposed alternative is not satisfactory, the user may opt for a full refund.

In any case, we strive to offer satisfactory solutions to minimize any inconveniences that may arise due to cancellations attributable to our agency.

13. Itinerary Modifications

Viajes24h reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary, if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as weather conditions, changes in the availability of certain services, or unexpected events). These adjustments will be aimed at ensuring the continuity of the trip without significantly affecting the overall user experience.

In the event of significant changes to the itinerary that substantially affect the trip, Viajes24h commits to informing the user in a timely manner. In this case, the user will have two options:

Accept the changes and continue with the booking under the new conditions.
Request a partial refund if the changes negatively affect the experience or value of the contracted service.

14. Passports, Visas, and Insurance

User’s Responsibility to Be Informed

When making a booking, you are responsible for ensuring that you meet all entry requirements for the destination country and that your travel documents, including passports and visas, are in order. It is important that you ensure your documents are current and valid for the date of your trip.

Verification of Entry Requirements

To find out the applicable passport and visa requirements, we recommend consulting the relevant embassy or consulate of the country you wish to travel to. Please note that entry requirements may change at any time, so it is your responsibility to verify updated information before making a booking and before your departure. Our agency accepts no liability in relation to any person who is denied boarding or entry to a country, including transit countries, en route to their destination.

Travel Insurance

The user acknowledges and agrees that it is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance covering, among other things, the following risks: cancellations, medical expenses, repatriation, and any other unforeseen events that may arise during the trip. The Agency is not responsible for situations that travel insurance could cover, such as medical emergencies, lost luggage, or unforeseen changes in travel plans.

The user is solely responsible for obtaining adequate insurance to protect themselves against any eventuality. If the user wishes, we can offer recommendations from trusted insurance providers, but the decision to purchase insurance will always be the user’s.

15. Liability Limitations on Bookings and Travel

Delays, Cancellations, or Errors by Third Parties

Viajes24h is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or any errors made by third-party service providers such as airlines, hotels, carriers, tour operators, or other external partners. This includes situations such as schedule changes, flight cancellations, modifications to accommodation bookings, or any other inconvenience that occurs beyond our direct control.

Damages, Losses, or Accidents During the Trip

Viajes24h is not liable for damages, losses, or accidents suffered by the user during the trip, unless such incidents are directly attributable to negligence on the part of the Agency. This includes any incident related to transportation, accommodations, activities carried out during the trip, or any other event that occurs during the user’s stay at the destination.

16. Financial Guarantee

Viajes24h is affiliated with Swiss Travel Security (STS), which guarantees customer protection in the event of insolvency of our agency. This affiliation ensures that, in the event of any circumstance that prevents the proper execution of contracted services, customers will be able to obtain the necessary protection as stipulated by STS regulations, to safeguard their payments and the continuity of their trips.

This backing provides an additional layer of security and peace of mind, ensuring that, under extraordinary circumstances, users’ rights are protected and they can obtain the corresponding refund, in accordance with the conditions established by the entity.
