Day 1: Mount Titlis

Begin your tour with a splendid bus ride through the beautiful countryside and along the shores of Lake Lucerne. Enjoy a photo stop along the way and an introductory talk as you approach the charming city of Lucerne. Explore the attractive old town and its sights, such as the Chapel Bridge, during your free time. At midday, the journey continues to Engelberg, a typical Swiss alpine village located in the sunny basin below the north face of Mount Titlis, where you will board the first of three cable cars. Leave your luggage at the hotel reception at the intermediate station of Trübsee. Take the rotating «Rotair» cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis at 3,020 m above sea level, where a world of year-round snow and ice awaits. Treat yourself to a typical Swiss lunch at one of the restaurants and enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks from the panoramic terrace. Visit the icy glacier cave, walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge — the «Cliff Walk» — or take a ride on the «Ice Flyer» chairlift toward the Glacier Park. Descend to Trübsee and end your day with a delicious 4-course dinner before sleeping under the starry sky.

Day 2: Trübsee

The next morning, start the day with a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel before enjoying the day at your leisure. Store your luggage at reception and take a hike through the extraordinary alpine surroundings, or head down by zip line (optional) to the shore of the blue lake, where rowboats are available free of charge to enjoy a lakeside picnic. For children and families, the «Schmuggli» play trail winds around the lake and ends at a fun playground. If you are more of an adrenaline seeker, dare to jump on the jumping pillow or test your balance on the tightrope at the Titlis Adventure Park. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel to collect your luggage and begin your descent to Engelberg. Meet your guide at the valley station to start your return journey to Zurich.

The tour is accompanied from Zurich to Mount Titlis (Day 1) and from Engelberg to Zurich (Day 2). For the overnight stay (Day 1), free time, and descent to Engelberg (Day 2), tickets and a written itinerary will be provided.
