Day 1: Pilatus

Embark on a scenic coach ride through a breathtaking landscape and along the shores of Lake Lucerne toward the enchanting city of Lucerne. After a brief city introduction, your guide will show you the main sights: the Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy free time to explore the old town before continuing to Kriens. Board the gondolas to Fräkmüntegg, switch to the «Dragon Ride» cable car, and enjoy spectacular views. Venture along the Dragon Trail or opt for a short hike to the summit of Mount Pilatus (weather permitting). Relax on the panoramic terrace and take in the splendid views of the Swiss Alps and the blue lakes in the valleys below. Descend on the world’s steepest cogwheel railway (with a 48% gradient) to Alpnachstad. Enjoy a one-hour boat ride across Lake Lucerne and admire the scenery from a completely different angle. Once back in Lucerne, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening in this charming city.

Day 2: Titlis

After breakfast, check out of your room and enjoy the morning at your own pace. From midday, meet today’s guide for the excursion to Mount Titlis and relax on a comfortable coach ride to Engelberg. Marvel at the spectacular views of deep glacier crevasses and massive blocks of ice on an impressive journey aboard the «Rotair» rotating cable car. At the summit of Mount Titlis at 3,000 m, a year-round alpine world of snow and ice awaits you. Take in the magnificent views of the Swiss Alps from the panoramic terrace, visit the glacier cave, and venture across Europe’s highest suspension bridge. Take a ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift to the Glacier Park or try snow tubing for the first time. In the afternoon, descend to Engelberg by cable car and return by coach to Zurich via Lucerne.

The tour is accompanied from Zurich to Mount Pilatus (Day 1) and from Lucerne to Mount Titlis and back to Zurich (Day 2). For the overnight stay in Lucerne (Day 1) and free time in the evening in Lucerne (Day 1) and in the morning (Day 2), tickets and a written itinerary will be provided.
